Hear stories from the members of a Reflective Teaching cohort in the New River Valley. Learn how studying children’s competencies for learning and social skills has transformed their views about their daily work, bringing them more meaning, inspiration and renewed joy.

This event is for educators, health and human service providers, and parents of young children who want to:
• See children’s abilities; including children’s scientific minds, schema explorations, innate skills and dispositions for developing relationships and the active play/brain connection.
• Study how children seek what they benefit from and the ability to enhance those experiences.
• Become a researcher of their own practice.
• Use structures for openness including observations, communities of practice and more.
