Nonprofit Listening Session: Recruiting and Retaining Volunteers

Sharing information and maintaining connections is critical amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. While we are unable to hold our in-person Third Thursday sessions, we invite you to join this listening session via Zoom for nonprofit leaders to talk with one another, detail your needs, and share resources.

For this session we will talk about recruiting and retaining volunteers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Community Foundation of New River Valley is pleased to welcome a panel of nonprofit leaders who have continued to utilize and recruit volunteers during the pandemic. Joining us on the panel will be Linda Jink, Executive Director at Literacy Volunteers of the New River Valley, Laureen Blakemore, Director of Community Engagement at the YMCA at VT, and Karen Jones, Meals on Wheels Coordinator at Radford-Fairlawn Daily Bread.
