In-Person Third Thursday: Leadership Through Change

February 17 @ 9:00 am 10:00 am

Join us for our first in-person Third Thursday event in nearly two years! We will be holding a quarterly in-person event around the region in 2022. The focus of the in-person events will be around leadership, and each meeting will have a different topic around leadership. We will only be meeting in-person quarterly, as all other sessions will remain on zoom. Please be sure to keep up to date with our newsletter and website.

The first session will be in Pulaski and focus on Leadership through change. If we can say anything about the last two years, it is that change is inevitable. We will hold a panel session with members of the nonprofit, business, and government sectors to hear about they have navigated change and leadership through not only the COVID-19 pandemic but other times when change has occurred. We are excited about the panelist that will be at this session:

  • Dr. Mark Rowh, VP for Workforce Development and External Relations at New River Community College
  • Adam Fariss, Owner of Iron Heart Winery
  • Jay Abbott, Director of Operations at Red Sun Farms
  • Becky Lattuca, Executive Director of Fine Arts Center of the New River Valley

The CFNRV will be providing coffee and fruit at these sessions. We are asking that everyone in attendance wear a mask regardless of their vaccination status. The sessions will not be recorded, and there will not be a hybrid option. We look forward to seeing you on Zoom at future meetings if you are not comfortable at in-person meetings, or cannot make the regional travel work with your schedules.
