Hope for the Journey is a full-day conference composed of video based instruction with facilitated discussion that brings together proven, practical teaching and insight as well as everyday, hopeful wisdom. The program is targeted towards adults serving children through difficult times: foster and adoptive parents, childcare workers, and mental health professionals.

This conference will not only encourage you, but will introduce you to individuals who have walked this very difficult journey and learned tools needed to empower, connect, and redirect children from difficult places. In the midst of their stories, you will be introduced to the principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention. This event is hosted by the Pulaski Community Youth Center in collaboration with the Community Foundation of the New River Valley and First Steps: The NRV’s Early Childhood Education and Development Network.
