The Community Foundation of the New River Valley (CFNRV)’s 10th Annual GiveLocalNRV Giving Day raised a record-breaking $921,648 from 3,329 donors for more than 100 nonprofit organizations across the New River Valley.

CFNRV Supports 81 Students with $141,000+ in Scholarships
This spring, the Community Foundation gave out $141,066 in scholarships to 81 students living or studying in the New River Valley (NRV), including 20 who are first in their family to attend college. The CFNRV will celebrate with the scholarship recipients and their loved ones at a luncheon on May 7.

CFNRV Scholarship Application Closing Soon
Students are encouraged to apply to scholarships through the Community Foundation of the New River Valley (CFNRV) before its scholarship application closes on January 30. This year, the CFNRV will give out more than $100,000 to New River Valley students, with each scholarship award ranging from $500 – $4,000.
